A control room has been set up by the Goa police in view of the parliamentary elections and the bypolls to three assembly segments on Tuesday.
The control room will collect hourly information on law and order situation as well as the polling process.
Sources said that SP, crime branch, Pankaj Kumar will monitor the control room.
The Goa police have sanctioned a food allowance of Rs 800 for two days to a cop.

The food allowance will help them make a choice.
The money has been deposited in police personnel’s accounts through electronic clearing service, the sources said.
The police have also formed quick response teams in all the 40 constituencies to respond quickly to a law and order situation or any untoward incident, DIG Parmaditya said.
